i have found three things that work (1) time. im sorry to say you have quite awhile to go in recovery. (2) for really bad-cant- stop- coughing there is pill cause Tessalon Perl. this is a prescription but it stops that cough in a heartbeat. (3) Pepcid AC - 40 mg or Nexium - 40 mg.

That’s great advice. It’s a good med. Pepsid also has Rx for higher doses if someone isn’t helped with the OC. It comes in 20 and 40 and maybe 80? Generic is Famotidine and may cost a lot less via Rx for some people because it’s generic. Another option for Rxs is the app Good Rx. It’s free and if you don’t have insurance or if your co pay is high, they search local pharmacies and the cost is often ridiculously lower. That goes for all drugs.
