@pwgrimes Sounds like you’re having a very difficult time! I’m so sorry. Has your primary care doctor been able to help at all, like referring you to the Celiac Clinic? A doctor to doctor approach might work better. Have you checked major medical centers in your part of the state? You can look for a gastroenterologist.
Do you think you could ask your doctor to call the clinic? And let me know what happens!

There is no celiac doctor for over 100 miles. Over 10 years All 6 gastroenterologists I have seen did colonoscopies and never mentioned celiac, just IBS, and said I cannot help you. I got the celiac test from my antidepressant doctor 2 years ago and am on strict GF diet. I have been to UC Davis same thing. The Chico Celiac Clinic will not contact me after 2 requests. I am is continual searing pain, but the colorectal doc did not call for over 7 weeks from my drs refer. She called again and I have an appointment in 3 weeks. I don’t know how I can wait. We only have one Colorectal Dr.. This pain is in my sphincter muscles and rectum. The inner sphincter is not working right and every 15 minutes let’s out diarrhea. Have tried all OTC analgesics. Did get some Mesalamine suppositories for a possible Hemorrhoid's, but not working. No one cares I am in such pain and can’t go on.
