Mysterious shortness of breath: What has helped you?

I disagree, we know our bodies better than anyone else. We know what anxiety feels like and we know when something is wrong. The last thing I would want is for someone to suggest a sedative to treat anxiety when I'm having an issue with breathing or with my heart. A sedative that will make sure I cant wake up when I'm having breathing or heart issues.

@sleepapnea2021- Good morning. One very legitimate treatment for anxiety is an anti-anxiety pill like Xanax. If you follow the doctor's directions not waking up shouldn't be a problem. SOB is not life-threatening.

I am assuming with your sign-in-name that you do have sleep apnea and that's a different story. The entire physical process is different than "just" SOB.
