Well in the north woods of Wisconsin it’s pretty much let ‘er grow. Keeps our legs warm in winter.🦍 Giggle

Disposable razors are fine. Just make sure you rinse and clean them, hanging to dry instead of lying around in a wet shower. Also swish in a little 90% rubbing alcohol before drying. Use a shaving cream to make sure the razor doesn’t abrade the skin and you’re good to go. These things apply whether someone’s immunocompromised or not. It’s just good shaving hygiene.
Electric shavers are fine if you can remove the heads to disinfect. Otherwise they are a harbor for bacteria as well and if you have raised bumps on your skin, they can also irritate those. So I’m not sure there’s a preference for one over the other. If you do have an abrasion, just put on a little antibiotic cream.

@loribmt Thank you so much for your detailed response Lori! I appreciate knowing that it's the 90% rubbing alcohol that I want. BTW, I normally subscribe to the Wisconsin "let 'er grow" philosophy but South Florida has officially moved to shorts and tshirts weather so it's time to shave! No more hiding in my cute yoga pants. If I don't change to shorts my neighbors make fun of me. 🙂
Lori, thank you so much for always being there for me no matter what size concern I have. You are always ready and willing to help me and hand-hold me through the details. I truly appreciate you! ❤
