Good morning, @granniet Getting blood results and not knowing what they mean is a little disconcerting, isn’t it? I was the same way but after several years of experience with a blood cancer I’ve gotten pretty familiar with the numbers. But keeping in mind I am not a doctor. ☺️

At first glance of your blood results your WBC is just a tick over the normal high range.
Your platelet level, at 641, is also higher than the normal range of 150-450.
Your hemoglobin level is great. And the D dimer test isn’t usually taken unless there’s a suspicion that your blood is clotting too easily. It measures a small protein fragment in the blood.
May I ask what prompted your doctor to order bloodwork? Did you recently have a blood clot or anything that raised the suspicion with your health? With your platelet level running high, that does mean you have the potential for your blood to clot more easily. Have you spoken with your doctor since the results?

I complained in January of crashing fatigue, weight loss, headaches, nausea brain fog and much more. My B12 was on the low end, I started injections because I have celiac, I also have dilated cardiomyopathy. It seemed to help by the third injection I was even worse. She ran the bloodwork with the results I gave you. They don’t know why my platelets are high and thinking I might need to see a hematologist, I haven’t heard but I’m so worried. I do have a CRTD-D for the cardiomyopathy. I have attached the bloodwork just want answers.
