The doctor did not brush aside the central sensitation but used it to brush off a question I had related to developing arthritis symptoms and a possible referral to rheumatology (question was to my spine specialist). Instead of processing the issue, his response was that my concerns are most likely central sensitization and to see my PCP with concerns. He already has knowledge of DDD in my spine. Sorry for the confusion. Your feedback was valuable and I understand the fine line we have to walk on…
