Has anyone tried Scrambler Therapy for neuropathy or for pain?

Posted by wisfloj @wisfloj, May 23, 2019

I have read about this device and I’m hoping someone can attest to its effectiveness for idiopathic neuropathy. I've read success stories and information online. Apparently insurance does not cover treatments, to the tune of $250 for the customary recommended 10 consecutive weekdays.

I had something that sounds about the same, electrodes on feet along with injections of B vitamins directly into the feet, it is called Sanrex. I did 19 treatments FDA approved and covered by Medicare, did very little to help, not sure if it’s the same type of treatment.

Do you mean Sanexas? It also did very little for me (Neuropathy in both feet) and I has also had about 19 treatments. PS I live in Brooklyn, do you?

II had 24 treatments on my back for neuropathy in legs caused by failed lumbar spine surgery. Machine was called Sanexas and treatment cell signaling. No improvement in my symptoms. Seems to me to be targeted to diabetic and chemo-caused neuropathy

@lisagraber Hey there, I do have CRPS and Allodynia pretty bad. I'm actually meeting with a new Dr tomorrow to discuss new pain management options i.e. scrambler etc. It was recommended to me by my current neurologist, but I have not physically tried it out yet. I believe you go for a series of sessions, yes. I hope to though!! Chronic pain / hypersensitivity are no joke!! Here is a link with some more info :

This is the facility I am going to tomorrow, actually (Neurology dept first). I also pray that you get relief if you are the one suffering! I literally feel your pain... :/

@rivermaya34 and @lisagraber The discussions and interest in Scrambler therapy is a recurring theme on this site however, I'm not sure there's been a response from anyone who has actually done it. So, please keep us posted on your results with the Scrambler therapy as many people who visit this site will be interested. From what I've read a large component of the Scrambler is the knowledge of the person who is administering it. Wishing you both to be free from pain and suffering.

@greenacres Yes, you are correct, as I have yet to see where anyone's who's been thru it has posted. I don't even know if it's something that's offered elsewhere, or by a diff name etc. Today's appt went well tho, A LOT of questions from two Drs for two hours!! They are choosing to seek other options before entertaining Scrambler therapy, so I can't speak for it yet. Maybe one day tho! *fingers crossed* Thank you!!
