Good evening @bsteeves and welcome to Connect. I want to join @johnbishop in addressing your issue because I have had some lumps in other areas. I also read the article and thought it pretty well covered the waterfront. Which of the descriptions most fits your lump experience?

I have lumps that pop up in other areas like my knees and they are either related to my SFN, small fiber neuropathy, or the TKR surgeries on both knees. My MFR therapist (myofascial release therapy) found one on my left knee today. She is going to work on it.....and see what happens. At this time it is swollen like a cyst and creating some havoc.

Hope you get a safeguarding answer soon from one of your clinicians. That always makes you feel better when someone else with lots of experience has a look and finds that you need not worry.

How did you find Connect? I came on as a Caregiver a few years ago. I stayed and my "patient" is quite healthy now.

Will you please let John and me know what the final diagnosis is and how you will treat the lump?

May you be free, safe, and protected from inner and outer harm.
Chris

Just an interim update for you @bsteeves. By Sunday, the pain and discomfort emanating from the cyst on my knee calmed down and I had a pretty good night's sleep. Last night was even better. I am surprised at how much harm that one bump created. I guess what we don't realize is that the fluid inside the bump takes up space in the knee and it gets a bit cramped and causes pain. We will have to see if it is all gone by next Monday. I sure hope so. Have you any news to share with us about your "bump"?
