Can sinus congestion drain into your stomach and give you nausea?

I have had an ongoing issue with sinus congestion and a stuffed up nose on one side but never had the drainage like you describe. A Mayo Clinic ENT prescribed a proprietary nasal spray which I used twice daily (morning and evening) after first doing a saline nasal rinse. I used the spray for about 4 months and it really helped. I've continued to do the twice daily nasal rinse and it does help keep my nose fairly clear and I'm able to breathe much better.
