Estradiol Vaginal Cream
Has anyone experienced bad side effects from using Estradiol cream? My urologist wants me to take it for very frequent nighttime urination. Anyone have hair loss that you believe is from using iti? Thank you.

I have the treatment every year in May and will continue indefinitely as it has conquered my problem with having uti’s. They load you up with pain killing cream beforehand. There is no pain. This is the only solution for me because I’m allergic to estradiol.
@ess77
You are right about the bladder . I only use the cream twice a week.
Going to look into the laser treatment more as I am curious and if insurance covers it.

@imallears and all...I'm with you, Mary. This may be a good solution to several of these issues. Keep us/me informed as to what you find...blessings, elizabeth
Yes, thank you. Never heard of that treatment. I will ask my urologist.
Diabetes is another possible cause for frequent nighttime urination. I have a friend with diabetes who claims she has to urinate so many times at night because of it.
I have a pretty rare but nasty condition, for which i will get surgery at the Mayo in Jacksonville by the end of the month. My labia minora did fuse, and closed my vulva up and is covering the urethra exit, forcing the urine to run down into the vagina and exciting from it. This causes constant irritation and inflammation, and is very painful. Once the labia is separated again I am supposed to put estrogen cream on it to prevent any future fusion.
This fusion thing can happen to post menopausal women who are not sexually active. The labia does not get enough estradiol containing blood supply in those cases, and tends to fuse . The estrogen cream is supposed to make sure it cannot happen again.
did not have hair loss but hair on lower parts of body with the cream.
Did the fusion offer from Lichen Sclerosis?
I use estradiol/Estrone suppositories at night. I am post menopausal so I need it for dryness. I like it.
I meant to ask if the fusion occurred from lichen sclerosis?
