Hello Gabe,
Your message was the first I read (I'm new to this forum -didn't realize there was one. The Mayo Clinic site is my favourite to look up health issues).
I was somewhat relieved to read your comments and many others on this SOB.
Although I've had this all my life .. but as I mentioned in one of my threads, it was maybe once a year and usually when it was very humid out - in summer.
I'm 71 now and maybe there's issues that I don't know of and no one has discovered.
As soon as I see my Dr, I will mention the Buteyko method.
I'd like to see what he says about this Dyspnea. As I mentioned before he is a new Dr for me.
Yes I am eventually able to get a breath but it's with much work as I need to somehow get to yawn which as you know is sometimes difficult to do as yawning is usually automatic, otherwise I just have to try and wait to catch a deep breath. This is every couple of minutes so I'm very frustrated and tired and sometimes I just have to cry to relieve myself.
Didn't mean for this to be so long..
I will just quickly say this and not sure if there's any relation or maybe it's just made worse but it wasn't until I had the vaccine that I noticed this happening daily.
I'm triple vaxxed so the last one was mid January. The one before was in July and I had a short-lived episode of SOB.
Way too much info I know..
Having said all that, I'm hoping that this Dr will be able to help me in finding a solution for me if there is one as it's interfering with living.
Thanks so much for replying and I wish you great moments of easy breathing.
Julia
