Interesting about no steroid injections for the SI joint. I have heard that it can be effective, but does make sense with what you were told. Was it particular to you or did the Orthopedic doc feel this is generally the case and have had them not be effective?

I had si joint injections a week ago and it was eye opening. I was told I had bursitis and got injections for that, didn’t help. Got the si injections and as soon as he placed the needle and I felt the twinge, I said that’s it! That’s the exact pain I’m having! The only pain I have is from the bruising at injection site. My si joint pain was instantly gone and is still gone a week later. I will say that if I “over extend” my leg the wrong way I will feel a twinge so I’m being careful. Enjoying my pain free hips while I can
