UCI is University of California at Irvine. My PCP is in UCI health. I think the specialist I made an appointment in April is just a Gastroenterology. It's not correct, right? I should look for ones in Transplant Hepatology in transplant center. Do I need my PCP to make a referral or I can directly call them to make an appointment? I started to have a fever again and have a runny nose now. I worry about it now. I usually need to live in the hospital if I have a fever in China.

@echo2022 My suggestion is to contact your primary care doctor, and ask what transplant center they align with. You will see from the link I sent you earlier, there is a transplant center associated with UC Irvine, so it would physically be close to you.

Please let me know how this turns out for you, if you are able to contact someone to look in to your situation. As a transplant recipient, it is always a good idea to have a medical team nearby for you! I hope you are feeling better today.
