My friend uses the 5% Rogaine, but the amount per treatment is so small that she cannot spread it all over her hair. It's limited to a relatively small area. Also, my hairdresser told me that one of her clients had good results, but had to stop because it caused hair growth in places where she didn't want it.

@luftmensh1 and all...Why is she limited where and how much she uses? I put a strip down the center of my head, a strip on the sides and then brush it in and gently rub. I put what I needed and where.
YES! It grows hair! and works...
Be extremely careful to not get it on your face! Unless you want to grow a beard or on your neck unless you want to grow thick hair on your neck, etc!!!!!
It won't grow hair on your hands since we don't have hair on our palms....I suggest wearing disposable gloves and if you get some on your face, wash it off w/ soap and water.
Just be wise, careful and grow more hair on your head! Or, get several wigs.
My friend has female pattern baldness, has lost all her hair all over her head. Nothing works for her. She has several wigs that look great. It's a matter of knowing what you are dealing with and then do it.
