Power snow shovel

Posted by Laura Dropps @ldropps, Feb 2, 2022

I just wanted to recommend a power snow shovel to folks with snow. I'm not able to shovel with a regular shovel, but I can with a power snow shovel. It's more pushing and less lifting. It won't do big areas, but if you have a sidewalk or porch that needs shoveling this may be worth looking into.

I had Covid in November 2020 and that winter I couldn't do anything. I had the Mayo's classes in September 2021 and have had a lot of improvement.

Do you have any recommendations for a power shovel

I've had a SnowJoe 10" 24V Cordless snow shovel for 2 years and absolutely love it. It throws the snow about 20 feet and is perfect for my sidewalk and deck. They are currently out of stock - https://snowjoe.com/products/snow-joe-24v-ss10-cordless-snow-shovel-24-volt-10-inch-4-ah.

I thought I would upgrade this year to a 13" version but found out it was heavier and harder for me to handle so I sold it to a younger friend. The 10 or 11 inch versions are lighter and easier to handle.
