Hello Gregoryz, I was a hairdresser for about 30 years. With that said, I am very sorry about your hair loss, but I am wondering if you have been tested for a very rare disease called Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis, PAP for short. and Thesaurosis Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, aka Hairdresser Lung. My symptoms were shortness of breath, low o2, and coughing a lot. I am sure these diseases are running ramped in our industry, I have a low thyroid so my hair does fall out on occasion. I had a lung biopsy at the Mayo in Arizona where they found polymers of hairspray in bedded in my lung . I can go on and on sorry .

Well Thank you & yes those 30 years have no doubt done damage especially those 1980's lol- I have had no Aveolar PAP testing no . I am thrilled to find this information out here in my own rabbit hole . I do recall having shortness of breath in the late 80's and grabbing the over counter mist . It became very prominent in 2016 that I was in serious trouble having my very first attack but it was not until this past year 21 that I landed in ER twice . I will definitely look into this amazing information . Big Thanks & Blessings to you . Greg
