@cookiepic Now I’m going to ask for Your help! I have a procedure next week that’s just giving me the willies. I had a follow-up with the opthamologist Wednesday after cataract surgery. He said that i have some inflammation in one eye and would need an injection into the eye!!! YIKES! I cant even imagine! Have you got any advice for me?

My advise is to stay calm and don't be afraid. Trust in your doctor that is doing the procedure. Before you know it it will be done. That's what l tell myself the day before I'm getting something done. I sit and say by tomorrow it will be done and I'll be fine. And also through your help and others that's how l dealt with my mri. I have faith in you and God you will be just fine. Don't understand estimate your strength.

Hi Becky,, I had that kind of fear for MRIs of my head and had a companion go with me.....just knowing they were sitting outside and could hear everything was helpful. Valium has also been a choice. And then I bought an MRI kit which includes coverage for my eyes. I also asked the technician to make absolutely sure that my body inside the hood would never touch the material. Then I would tell myself I was not confined or some other dream. Good luck. You will be fine.

You've got the strength..........I've seen it many times.
