Hi @athenalee 💃 Yes, my transplant nurse said the hospital is developing guidelines and I will be notified through the patient portal when available.
On the latest John Hopkins Transplant webinar, the doctor explained that the vaccine is a superior protection, but for patients that the vaccine does not work, Evusheld is the next best thing to provide some "first line of defense" antibodies. (no T and B cell action)
John Hopkins has a clinical trial going on to see if they can have better success with the vaccine by lowering the immune suppression and then give the vaccine. I will be curious to see the results.
Did you message your transplant nurse for their approval on Evusheld? Have you heard anything more about Evusheld?

I received approval. They’re doing them at Lahey, but suggested I try in S. Vermont first. They said if I need a letter from them, they’d provide it. Now I just have to get my PCP to follow through.
