Has anyone gone from having Alimta (Pemetrexed) to getting Docitaxel?
Has anyone gone from having Alimta (Pemetrexed) to getting Docitaxel? I'm wondering how much worse the Docitaxel is? Thank you.

Hi Carlie's
I appreciate your support
I knew I came to the right place to vent. I'm usually stronger and more positive but things just seem to have piled up and I was at my lowest.
I am very thankful I still have options and will take advantage of them.
Thank you again!
You’re entitled to a pity party! You just can’t stay there too long. ☺️
You have a lot to fight for and I know the pain we feel when thinking of leaving our loved ones behind. That was my greatest fear too!
It wasn’t the chemo, it wasn’t the side effects, it wasn’t even the thought of dying. It was knowing the amount of hurt that my passing would cause my family.
So let’s get you through this! Keep a picture of those sweet little babies nearby when you’re getting your treatments and where ever you spend the most time. Every time you look at those pictures, know you’re fighting for the chance to see them again in person!
We need that goal to keep us going! It should be enough to do it for ourselves. But sometimes I felt I wasn’t quite worth that effort. 😅 But my daughter, my husband and my dear friends made it all worth the challenge!
I’m just a few days shy of my original diagnosis 3 years ago! I can’t believe how far I’ve come since that fateful day, especially with everything transpired afterwards. My chances of survival weren’t favorable. Motivation and determination kept me going! 3 years later, I’m still in remission and feeling healthier and more energized than I have in years.
So I’m speaking from experience when I tell you it’s ok to have a bad day and attend that pity party…just don’t spend much time there. But take time to eat the cake! 🥰
You are truly an inspiration!
Thank you 💖
