DEXA results from Tymlos or Evenity

Posted by csday @csday, Jan 8, 2022

I know these are fairly new drugs, but has anyone seen improvement in DEXA scores after using Tymlos or Evenity? I have read volumes about side affects but not seeing any info on actual effectiveness.

Good afternoon @csday..... thanks for your inquiry. It is not an across-the-board question. It depends on age, and the support you have from Calcium, vitamin D, and other supplements or medications. After 2 years of Tymlos and at 79 years of age......I had slipped back to osteopenia which was an improvement. That was not earthshaking but I held my own or improved in all areas. I have also read about greater DEXA scores from younger folks.

If you would like to scout around on your own....you can use the "Search" bar at the top of your screen. Let me know if that is successful for you.
