Hi - random twitching at times, but not noticeable to others. I try to think positive that it means some muscles or nerves are alive 😎. Good luck with your journey snd answers.
I don’t get twitching, but a tingly feeling in left ear, like constant feeling of hair in there, and left nostril which causes me to sneeze all of the time as well.
I have sensory and motor peripheral neuropathy. My symptoms began 2 weeks after the first Pfizer vaccine. The motor neuropathy causes some muscle twitching, but that symptom has been improving over time. Has your neurologist tested you for autoimmune antibodies?
I was thoroughly shocked recently when diagnosed with neuropathy. I thought only people with diabetes (which I don't have) suffered with neuropathy. However, I do have polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis, and rheumatoid arteritis. When first diagnosed with this neuropathy I couldn't believe God would be so cruel as to let this happen to me since I'm dealing with so much already. I found a new rheumatologist who after many tests informed me that because my last rheumatologist kept me on Prednisone for such a long time, I now have osteoporosis as well. My first symptoms started with a hot crawly feeling in the soles of my feet at night. A few weeks later I started waking at night with burning on my legs from my knees to my ankles. Now, I've developed twitching in my face that wakes me from a sound sleep as well as severe headaches. I found a team of neurologists who treat people who suffer migraine headaches, diabetic and peripheral neuropathy as well as other disorders of the nervous system and am praying they can help me. I'd just like to say_ from all I've been reading I feel as though I'm at the very beginning of what will eventually become a horror story for me. I deal (on a daily basis) with pain from polymyalgia, back aches from osteoporosis, pain in all of my joints from arthritis, but he worst of it all is the almost unbearable anxiety that hovers over me constantly. I try to explain this all to my husband, but he just doesn't understand which leaves me alone in my world of aches, pains and anxiety.
