I feel your pain so to speak. It's there and it interferes with my ability to move by body the way I once did. Some movements are just too painful and others, if I do. I'm going to regret it later. In a big way. There is no liking anything about pain, its horrible and agonizing and in my opinion, ok this is my opinion. So, I digress before getting worked up. I like to consider myself open minded to change, however, for years I lived a very physical lifestyle. So, changing my physical behavior is hardest of all for me. Accepting this is the way I am now and making it work is challenging to say the least. I may always have some emotional difficulty not being the athlete I once was. I am slowly learning to do it and trying to find ways to do things differently. I will do the best I can, Hope it's good enough, and try not to be too hard on myself.

My right hip and lower back are painful when put to use. Also I have acnes and pains in my muscles. Yoga and stretching seems to help but it does not last long.

Yes, pain and the underlying cause(s) really does make us adjust our lifestyle! I was an energizer bunny for a long time, but now I must have the off-brand of batteries, because they run down quickly. It does take longer to do everything, and although I can manage smaller tasks now, I will probably never shingle a garage again...

What methods do you use to get the necessary done while avoiding putting yourself in big-time pain?
