You're not alone, Lori. Fellow members @jjspokane61 @mygrain316 and @macjane have also mentioned having nightmares and apnea. I moved your question to this existing discussion so that you can connect with them.

I'm glad to hear that you have an appointment with a neurologist coming up very soon. I look forward to hearing what you learn. In the meantime, maybe we can help you come up with good questions to ask at you appointment. What do you plan to ask her?

I have a couple of questions for you. How long have you been using a CPAP? Did you have nightmares before using the machine? Are the headaches new or recent?

I have had the CPAP for about a year now. The first one was the recalled Phillips, and so I got a new one. And, YES, I had the nightmares before using the CPAP, that is why they sent me to a sleep study. They calmed down for a while, but have gotten worse over the last few months, and I don't believe it's all due to stress. I had fallen and hit my head back in the summer, I had an x-ray, and it showed nothing, but the Dr. said I did have a concussion. It's funny, now that I think of it......I had a CAT scan with contrast a couple months ago, for my heart. And it seems to me that's when they started to get worse, along with a MAJOR, CONSTANT HEADACHE! I will be asking the neurologist to do a cat scan on my head. I really don't know what to ask her.......I just want these to quit! I am hurting myself, tearing up my room, I have broken my tv, I sleep walk and slam doors cussing people out.......I just can't deal with it anymore! Thank you for all your help! I certainly will keep everyone updated!
