Mysterious shortness of breath: What has helped you?

I would ask for an Electromyleogram.....I know its a long word but it is a "muscle test"....sometimes shortness of breath can be from weakened muscles in your rib cage (diaphragm) when there is no other cause........ it takes muscles for your lungs to move....inhale and exhale

Also a "sleep study" to see if you have sleep apnea.....these test are very important....shortness of breath is important to find the cause.....earlier than later.....sleep apnea can damage organs.....body needs to rest and if you are not going into a "deep sleep" your organs are not resting such as heart, lung, kidneys etc....

Thanks. I will speak to my doctor about this. I go to the chiropractic every week for my back issues and whenever I try to workout and go to hin the next day, he says a few ribs are out of place and he has to adjust accordingly. Not sure if the 2 are related. I'm scared now so I have stopped working out. it get worse in the evening so bad that I can't even eat
