Winsantor drug testing

Has anyone heard about the product that Windsantor is testing now for Neuropathy? I’m wondering if it is moving forward. I can’t find much information about it.

I have Peripheral Neuropathy that is becoming more debilitating. I need the BEST way to try to keep it from getting worse. I eat healthy and exercise 5 X a week for an hour. I live alone and worry how fast this progresses. I realize there is no cure, individualized, but what action is the most beneficial? Are there foods to avoid? Sleep is also a problem. I could use more solutions. Thank you.

Try deep tissue massage to get the blood flow into your feet. And stretching exercises to also promote blood flow, calf and hamstrings.

Avoid as much sugar as possible. For sleep aids maybe try Melatonin! About 10mg per night.

@julkin - WinSanTor is a company but the drug they make is what this discussion is about. Here's an article about it.

"Treating Peripheral Neuropathy
The hope is that these new findings support the potential for select anti-muscarinic drugs already on the market, like pirenzepine, to be repurposed as a possible preventative, and even treatment, for the clinical effects of peripheral neuropathy, which, for patients, has been largely been a matter of pain relief, and associated with significant health care costs." --- Blocking Anti-Muscarinic Drugs May Reverse PN: https://winsantor.com/anti-muscarinic-drugs-may-reverse-peripheral-neuropathy/

WinSanTor’s lead compound, WST-057 is the topical containing pirenzepene - https://winsantor.com/pipeline/

Is it now on the market?

Not that I'm aware of...I thought the article mentioned 3 to 5 years out

"Our aim is to change the current state of neuropathy in three to five years by bringing to market hope for peripheral neuropathy sufferers. WinSanTor’s lead compound, WST-057, shows the ability to prevent nerve damage and re-grow damaged nerves. With its well-known safety profile, WST-057 is on track to an accelerated regulatory approval and to the clinic." --- https://winsantor.com/pipeline/
