Did your doctor do a chest x-ray? If not, I'd really recommend you get one. If the x-ray showed you have a raised lung, you could have a paralyzed diaphragm which manifests these symptoms. if you have a raised lung, your doctor should order a SNIFF test, which is the definitive test to see if you have a paralyzed diaphragm.
