Hi Mike,
Yes I’ve known quite a few people with Covid. Many of them died. I was invited to a birthday party which I attended and their children were there with active Covid and it wouldn’t surprise me since both her children had it with the parents may well have had it also and they were there as well. I was contacted to go get a Covid test which I did as well as every other person who attended. Thankfully it turned out that none of us got it. But I don’t worry about getting it. As far as I’m concerned worrying about something has never helped at all so why bother, If it happens it happens.

“I just read a story that over 1,000,000 people trying to loose weight can't because they don't know that it's Bile backing up causing a belly from the liver”
I never heard of that either. fortunately I don’t have any problems losing weight. Just cut down my portion eat less of the five main food groups which consist of candy, cookies, pies, cakes & pastries.

Regarding the medical alert bracelet/necklace/shoe tags, watch band emblems or whatever if one could benefit you I wouldn’t hesitate getting one. It can be a bit costly but like @gingerw said “it is a small price to pay for peace of mind. One service I found very useful is the document storage . I have my advanced directive there as well as some medical records Health history, various medical reports, ECG’s, EEG’s and other documents. I never heard of insurance covering the membership fee or the ID cost but it is well worth the cost. My parents were notified many times when I was having a seizure somewhere, especially when I was in Status Epilepticus, an immediate medical emergency. The cost for MedicAlert
Services have gone up significantly.
They do offer free memberships if their services aren’t affordable. Pay memberships cost $25, $50 or $75 per year. I pay mine every three years. I think you can pay yearly but if you choose to pay every three years I believe it’s a little cheaper. I’ve had my MedicAlert since the late 60s when Stainless bracelets costt $6, silver $9 & gold $24.
in my opinion I don’t think there’s any medical ID services that can come close to providing the services that Medic Alert does.
Take care and get that medicAlert ID ordered asap,
Jake
