Life can certainly be a struggle, but as you say, just sitting may feel good for a while, but ultimately getting up and moving generally has more positive benefits. Even though it can be painful, I enjoy walking every day as it helps me stay positive and reach a daily goal.
Keep being strong and overcoming that feeling of hopelessness!
Hey there @misspeach, I'm checking in on you. How have you been doing? Are you still practicing self-care rituals that help to keep you motivated?
People don't often think that self-care can be a SMART goal. On the contrary. Taking one small step each day to remind yourself, "YOU matter", no matter how poor you feel, is an important place to begin goal setting.
I look forward to an update from you soon! 😊
Aah, Miss Peach, I hear you! I woke up every hour last night with hands and shoulders yelling at me, so the temptation was to curl up in a ball this morning... Instead I got up and soaked the hands in warm water, did the shoulder exercises, and will try to push through. I will find something interesting to occupy me so I can ignore it for a while.
