I believe that my cancer was also missed on my pet scan. That has been one of my questions do our doctors look at the actual images or just the report? My oncologist I believe just looks at the report but that is a question I intend to ask. My husbands lung doctor always looked at the images while we were in the office. Not mentioned on my husbands CT report was slight pneumonia and an a small aneurysm on his aorta valve which apparently has not changed. We only knew this because he had an appointment with his carotid surgeon and he looked at the CT ordered by our oncologist. One can only try and be proactive but if we aren’t informed it is hard to make a decision. That was really nice of Colleen to forward your info on for you. Hope all went well.
