You should call your pharmacist and ask. I’m standing by my opinion that you should not be having withdrawals after 9 days of Prozac.

I guess the reason it's been so hard for me to understand that it didn't have something to do with the Prozac is that I never felt that way before the medicine. I had covid and I think the medicine they had me on was causing me to be upset. So the doctor said let's do a little Prozac to get you past all this and then you can stop it. ugh....the worst 9 days of my life, I was in bed most of that time. Then after that, the adrenal surges would wake me up and if I dozed back off it would happen again. I've never had anxiety before and now I understand the hell that anyone that has it feels. I think that the covid just messes up your system and hopefully, this will pass. My doctor put me back on a low dose of beta-blocker, she said it would help with the surges and my anxiety. Maybe when I get on down the road and stronger I can get off of that too. I've taken the beta-blocker 3 days and I'm already seeing a difference. Thanks for listening and responding. Prayers to everyone that is struggling with whatever issues.

As individuals our response to medication withdrawal can and do vary greatly. Especially when it involves antidepressants which are notorious in this specific capacity. Whether it’s real or psychological the emotional and/or physical response is unique to each individual and experienced accordingly and needs to be addressed. Period.
