Is your doctor a pulmonologist experienced in treating MAC & bronchiectasis? If I recall correctly, you are an RN?
In your place, I would certainly use my very best skills to convince him I want to trial 7%, promising to report my results. Failing that, as an advocate for my own health, I would be looking for a more amenable physician... is that an option for you?

Yes, an RN. He is a pulmonologist who was highly recommended by my attending physician. Also very recommended by RN's I know who have worked with him in the intensive care units at our local hospitals. He was very knowledgeable when discussing MAC with me but not sure if he is particularly experienced in the disease. I do need to look around because I will not give up my 7% saline. On nebology is was an alternative that seemed affordable. Need to look around. Thank you for being so attentive on the blog. I always read what you have to say.
