7% saline continues to deliver.

I will be interested in the answers to this. My physician will not prescribe it for me although I have asked several times. He had a bad experience with bronchospasms. I was able to get it from nebology on line but they will no longer send it without a prescription. I did get it from Amazon as I do think it helps keep my lungs healthy. I use 7% in the morning and 3% in the evening now to make it last longer. It is pricey but have no other choice at this time.

Just added Amazon selections for 7%…$39 to $69. It’s worth trying to nebulize it. It made the world of difference for me. No prescription necessary.

Is your doctor a pulmonologist experienced in treating MAC & bronchiectasis? If I recall correctly, you are an RN?
In your place, I would certainly use my very best skills to convince him I want to trial 7%, promising to report my results. Failing that, as an advocate for my own health, I would be looking for a more amenable physician... is that an option for you?
