@artscaping, @retired123, @athenalee, and all...Benadryl is a wonder drug for me also, in most cases, but I stopped taking it at night every night when I realized it had lingering fuzziness and there was some reason it's not good to do regularly. Don't remember what now... I will take it in capsules, and use the cream. The cream doesn't help my feet and ankles like the MM lotion and oral Benadryl. Benadryl capsules are like magic for me with crazy reactions to drugs or bites or PN itching. but, that's not my major issue with my feet so I only use it occasionally, as needed.
For sleep, I do better with the MM tincture and 1-2 melatonin tablets. And, massaging the feet/legs with balm or lotion.
I'm so pleased we've helped each other like this to find different ways to help our variety of PN and other problems. If I didn't have you, my Connect friends, sharing such great information and helping me through, I'd be in a very different place with all my physical issues. I send blessings every day to all of you who have helped me get to such a better place in my aging.
Thanks to you all! ess.
Good evening ~ For me the worst is tight/stiff ankles. My other garden variety symptoms I could deal with if my feet would allow me to walk w/o assistance and drive. I'm not liking the pregabalin side effects so I'm reducing the dosage and am going to try supplementing with Benadryl. I am told I am one of the fortunate ones w/o pain. It doesn't feel fortunate to be basically housebound and have all my activities come to a near standstill. So I'm trying to find what others are doing to help with their symptoms. I find light compression helps with "itching". But the ankles!!
