I didn’t retire so much as I just quit working, until recently I worked online in a medical field. Then everything got put on hold with Covid, then a changing administration, and just haven’t looked for anything new. I am enjoying a tiny bit of free time again. I am responsible for anything over 5 pounds, pushing, pulling, climbing etc. at home, and I take care of my brother who just went on salvage chemo for small cell lung cancer. I am spending more time wandering the halls on connect, and try to have several visits a week with the boys (horses) at the barn. I try not to feel to guilty about not working, but sometimes I worry about getting left behind intellectually.

You seem quite bright and curious. I can't see you being left behind intellectually. It has to be hard taking care of your brother. My husband died with Parkinson's and it was harder taking care of him than surviving my own cancer
