Are you keeping to a strict low acid diet? Does that help with your reflux? Do you have Barrett's esophagus? I would only have surgery only if it's the last resort. Some of these people on this site have had horrible results.

Yes, but it doesn't help because anything I eat can cause reflux, since it is hiatal hernia involved. I don't have Barrett's (yet) but there are definite changes to my tissue. I know, I think I might postpone this. It seems like people have better luck with Linx? I am not sure if I am a candidate, but it might be worth a look into. My mom keeps saying that I'm only seeing the few horror stories and I'm like, "no, you don't understand. It is CRAZY how many people have horror stories, and it's not reversible! So if it's messed up, I'm stuck!"
