As a Stage 4 am VERY concerned about halting the GFR decline, etc. Researched Chinese medicine practitioners and located one here near my home with outstanding credentials, Began treatment with acupuncture needling as well as patches that are applied to both hands - but mostly on the left -- as well as 'warming' -- application of a heat lamp to my belly/kidney area, His reviews are really good and he said he hopes to HALT the GFR decline and increase my kidney function -- from his lips,... let's see if it works. Check back in 4-5 weeks. I will see him 3 x week at first and then to taper off. Anybody else have positive results from alternative medicine??
