Does Meralgia Paresthetica cause excruciating pain? my mom is suffering from thigh pain for 2 years and she is taking narcotic pain killers which doesn't even work, but she is experiencing excruciating pain. no doctors has officially diagnosed this and i am wondering if she has this condition. Any comment will help. Thank you so much.

Hi @jamie2021, Welcome to Connect. I'm sorry to hear your Mom has been suffering from the thigh pain for 2 years with no real help or diagnosis. It is sometimes scary to search for conditions that fit our symptoms on the Internet and since we are not doctors we have a tendency to think the worse.
