Hello @11blessed, Welcome to Connect, an online community where patients and caregivers share their experiences, find support and exchange information with others. I'm on the skeptical side of your question. A lot of the advertisers make claims that they can't back up with clinical evidence. I would want specific research before purchasing one. I do know that a chair with a Shiatsu massager makes me feel good at the time but it doesn't last and outside of the short time I'm in one I see no other benefit but that's just me. Years ago I purchased a small vibration unit for me feet which have neuropathy and it did nothing for them.

Mayo Clinic has some information that mentions it could be an effective --- "Some research does show that whole-body vibration may help improve muscle strength and that it may help with weight loss when you also cut back on calories. Whole-body vibration may also have a role beyond sports and fitness." - Is whole-body vibration a good way to lose weight and improve fitness?: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/fitness/expert-answers/whole-body-vibration/faq-20057958

The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has some exercise information that may be helpful for improving balance and more here:

Are you thinking about buying a specific Shiatsu or vibration platform?

Thank you for your response, yes, doing some research first; I have neuropathy and it impacts my walking, & balance, primarily my feet. I was hoping it might help strengthen my legs and restore the arterial veins. A purchase of the Shiatsu massager for circulation and the vibration platform, to help loss weight??

I purchased a Sand Dune Stepper to help with balance and building up my leg strength but have to use a walker or railing to maintain balance while I'm using it. It does feel good on the feet though - https://www.sanddunestepper.com/

Listen to this: Researchers have discovered that cats purr as pets and in the wild. They do it and the vibration actually repairs and builds bones!! Just read that last week. I have an older heat vibration unit for my feet. I’m now using it everyday.

Balance exercises are also good. Standing where you can safely hold onto something and stand on one foot and incorporating your core muscles. This can be done while brushing your teeth.

It is an interesting subject. Vibrations have a sound frequency. Different Hz frequencies heal different things. Hz2 is reported for nerve repair. Binaural beats, etc. If you google it you can find many interesting articles.

Thanks for responding to me. I will look it up more now. Not to downplay the importance, but as I read what you said about different frequencies healing different things I was thinking I need an entire orchestra of Hz frequencies to work on me daily... now that I think about it, wouldn't that be terrific if we could go in for a tune up - that actually is a 'tune up.' I'm so punny tonight. Thanks for this-will check it out.

As I recall there is an "all purpose" frequency I just can't think of it right now. If you look on Amazon for Complete Must-Have Collection of Binaural Beats Meditation BrainWaves Alpha Beta Theta Delta Gamma Hz there is a bit of a cheat sheet. I find the subject interesting. Then there are tuning forks...
