@deanna2, Have you been checked by a cardiologist for vascular circulation problems in your legs? My right leg calf was always a little larger than the left when they were both had some swelling in them. The doctor checked for blood clots and also checked the circulation in my legs then ran a lymphoscintagram test to check them (https://www.radiologyinfo.org/en/info/lympho). I was diagnosed with lymphedema (https://www.circulationfoundation.org.uk/help-advice/other-vascular-information/lymphoedema) and now wear compression socks which really helps.

I used a compression sock on the affected leg, which helped. Doing research online, I learned that swelling is a common side effect of Amlodipine, one of my blood pressure medicines. When I told my GP, she took me off that which seems to have also gradually helped. My right calf is now only a half inch larger than my normal left calf. I'm going to check out the links you mentioned. Thank you.
