@flmargie I’m sorry to hear that you have osteoporosis, so do I. And you broke your jaw? How did this happen?There are so many drugs to treat osteoporosis and @windyshores and @kilh are talking about Prolia which is given, by injection, by the patient at home. The clicks are a measure of increasing the dosage. I’m currently on Fosamax, a weekly pill, but will change to Reclast, an infusion by the end of the month.

Sound confusing? It is! There are about 14 medications, given by different routes, at different time intervals. What has your doctor put you on?

No we are discussing Tymlos, not Prolia. We give Tymlos injections to ourselves daily. The pens have 8 clicks for a full dose and some of us are starting with two and moving up.
