@nick52 Hi Nicole. You may want to edit this post for future readers. In the first paragraph, you stated that mac is not a bacteria and does not multiply. It is a bacteria and it does multiply. Not everyone's will multiply (colonize), some go away on it's own. For some people, it does multiply and kills lung tissue. That is what happened to me because mine went untreated for years. Thank you in advance for taking care of this. -Terri
@hallann Hi Annette, how are you doing now? Did your heart settle down? Did you mention that to your doctor?
@windwalker i must have forgotten a word or something like that but I have no idea how to find the post so I can edit it. Thanks Windwalker for letting me know. I must have explain myself wrongly. Can you tell me how to find it please. Nick
Hi @nick52 I can edit your post for you if you like. Here it is https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mycobacterium-avium-complex-pulmonary-disease-macmai/?pg=407#comment-105267
@hallann Breath Easy tea by Traditional Medicines is great too. It got me through a lot of tough times when my chest was unbearably tight and I thought I would drown in phlegm. Kroger's carries it in the natural food aisle. If they don't have it where you live, you can request that they carry it. That is what I did. It flies off of their shelf. You can also order it online.
