Hi @pacarolyn, You will notice we modified the title of your discussion to better describe the question you are asking and to hopefully allow more members with experience to join the conversation. My PMR is in remission. I have always had discomfort when sitting for too long. I wouldn't really call it pain but a little more like an ache. I have had elevated LDL numbers but the doctor or rheumatologist never mentioned it being related to PMR. You may be interested in an older discussion on Connect that talks about the pain.

Thank you. I actually went to my orthopedist thinking it might be related. Had an MRI and nothing found. Later read an article that listed buttock pain as a PMR symptom. Just wondered if others have this problem. Not sure what to do from here except stand up more often and move around.
