Thank you @windyshores ! Now I understand why my doctor said "without fractures" he recommended Prolia instead of Forteo....it's"about the approval from Insurance. I thought he was following some type of diagnostic protocol. He said without a fracture he recommended Prolia or Fosamax instead of Forteo. Thank you for the education!! 🙂

You also can get coverage for Tymlos or Forteo if you try the other meds and cannot take them. I forget if you have to try one or two. It is counterproductive for the insurance companies in the long run to do it this way!
