Hi @windyshores , I haven't had a fracture so my endocrinologist said I can start with Fosamax or Prolia. He said he would use Forteo if I broke something. He is suggesting Prolia over Fosamax because the number is bad and he wants more power up front and then if things go well, his plan is to move me to Fosamax. But I agree with you that something like Forteo makes more sense. Is it possible to switch to Forteo after taking Prolia? Is that an option if the Prolia doesn't work? Thanks so much for letting me know your experience!

Good afternoon @hello1234, @windyshores, I am very interested in this issue of which comes first. My endocrinologist told me that only Tymlos, Forteo, and Evenity have the ability to grow new bone. Prolia was the medication recommended to me to maintain the progress made with Tymlos over a two-year span of injections.
Prolia infusions are twice a year........and are possibly a lifetime medication in order to prevent fractures that are known to occur when Prolia is discontinued or interrupted. What have you learned and please share how the information was given to you?

May you have peace and ease today.
Chris
