Hi @windyshores Did your doc share why he didn't like Prolia for you? (I am getting ready to go on Prolia next month and I am unsure if that's the best solution for me). I am -3.4 currently. Many thanks for any info you may have!

My immune system is a little awry (lupus). I assume that is why. With a score of -3.4 can you go on Tymlos, Forteo or Evenity to grow bone before Prolia or Reclast? I have read that using Prolia first can interfere with the effectiveness of the bone-growing drugs and that the docs (and insurance0 have the sequence backwards. Check to see what your insurance will allow. Do you have any fractures? Have you tried Fosamax? The latter two things can help get insurance coverage for the anabolics.

I don’t know that there is that big of a difference between Prolia and Evenity. They are both products of Amgen and they both scare me. Got off Prolia after one shot …. But once you take these you’re in the Prolia trap.
