Has there been any reports of iron depletion in the blood after receiving the Pfizer vaccine?

I have been having the same problem. I went to the doctor after being very tired and easily out of breath. My CBC counts had all plummeted as well as my iron and iron saturation. I started pumping myself with anything I could with iron in it. Next blood test my CBC counts had come back up, but my iron and saturation levels were still low. I still am taking anything I can to up my iron. While I am not as tired as I was, I still find I have no get up and go, and still need one nap each day, which is not me. I plan on requesting another iron and saturation test soon, but am afraid this is permanent.
I received my two Pfizer shots in March and April.
I don’t think the doctors know about us yet. My doctor thought I had a bleeding issue as well. But I had just had a colonoscopy last year and I have no ulcers. The more of us that report our situation, the more they will report to the doctors that it can be a side effect.
My daughters iron never went back up either with iron supplements. The only thing it went up with is a blood transfusion. She will start iron infusions next week. I am hoping it goes up further. The lowest her hemoglobin got was 5.8 which is not good. Her folate levels were the lowest the hematologist has ever seen. She has O- blood type. I'd be interested to know if there is anything that is common in those on this commentary.
I think someone representing this message board should inform them as a public service. Just got my third shot 2weeks ago and I get blood work next week
Hi, @kaswick2 This forum is comprised of members just like you who are sharing our stories and experiences to help each other. We’re not really in a position to post public service announcements.
That’s why it’s so important for people who feel they have side effects from the vaccine report it to VAERS. Once that information is in the national data base it can then be compiled, providing a foundation for researching the related incidents.
It’s great that you got your booster shot and good luck on the bloodwork. Super important to keep ourselves and everyone else safe. I know you already had Covid so you know how important it is to avoid it again.
Hoping to get my 3rd dose soon too.
Hi, all my numbers plummeted, iron, iron saturation and all my CBC’s. I got the CBC’s to come up, but am struggling with the iron. After the next blood test, I will request an iron infusion. I am so tired..
That sounds scary. I am O neg as well. I am going to request iron infusions next…hoping for the best for your daughter ❤️
Please be sure this is reported in VAERS, even as a suspected result of the Covid vaccine. What is not reported can not be investigated.
If your doctor has not reported it, you can do it yourself at: https://vaers.hhs.gov/esub/index.jsp
Be sure to list all medications, supplements, previous illnesses and chronic conditions too. This helps in the research to find answers.

Yes and I go for an upper GI scope on Friday.
I got my 2nd Moderna Covid vaccine in Mid February . Also had surgery in March and my hemoglobin was a little low. In May, my hemoglobin was 7.2 HCT 27%, and Ferritin very low. I had surgery in March but was told I lost very little blood and my anemia definitely were not due to blood loss during surgery. Numbers going back up due to iron supplement, but worried cause getting booster tomorrow at CVS (yes, they are giving full strength Moderna 3rd shots here in California)
