Thank you for contacting me. I have had successful phage therapy, the first patient at Mayo Clinic, for a prosthetic joint infection that had lasted many years. Antibiotics have been used in the past but my body is now intolerant to most of the go-to medications. Phage therapy is not yet FDA approved but in some rare cases, FDA emergency authorization can be obtained. I would be happy to discuss any aspect of the therapy.
