Has anyone ever been cured of MAC?

I think of everything we do to improve our overall health - good diet, adequate rest, exercise, airway clearance, 7% saline, probiotic supplements and/or fermented foods, avoiding ill people, good mental health - to be part of the complex dance that keeps MAC at bay and keeps us off the dreaded antibiotic regime.
Each of us members on Connect has our own unique take on it, depending on the severity of our condition, our lifestyle, and how many changes we are willing to make.

I have been fortunate that airway clearance and healthy living have kept me relatively healthy for past 3 years, because the antibiotics were awful for me & at 18 months I cried "uncle".

What do you do to stay healthy?
Sue

I couldn't take antibiotics because of other health issues. I do 3% sodium chloride nebulizer and the vest, twice a day for 30 minutes. I've been seeing that 7% is very beneficial. I asked my doctor to try it and he said it would increase bleeding. I see him next month and printed out 2 reports recommended on here. I'll ask him to review and ask again for higher dose.
