I am scheduled to have it done this next week and I am apprehensive about possible bleeding or other side effects after the insertion.

Had my procedure done this past week. No bleeding. Just a slight feeling of “fullness” for a day or two. This procedure was much easier for me to tolerate than the biopsy of my prostate…. Good luck. I believe you find this procedure to be a piece of cake.
