@mslw-you are welcome. I am assuming you are or have been dealing with congestion or side effects from nasal sprays?
It is very frustrating. There are too many reasons to name, for the cause of congestion.
You can get to the root cause with effort and help and save the delicate tissue in your nose.
For example-if someone has a congestion response to dairy, you are not told to use nasal sprays, you are told to cut out dairy.
Same needs to be for other things that cause congestion. Internal/External can all be addressed with effort.
*I must put out the disclaimer, I know they can help a small majority of people. But they are over prescribed and promoted for the wrong reasons.

There are so many natural options, to rebalance, without causing long term damage to your first line of defense.

Thank you for your thoughtful description of natural options vs. possible long-term damage from standard treatments.
I don’t know if “congestion” is my problem; I’ve been using the term “nasal crusting,” in Pub Med, etc.
Retired librarian here….would like to do more ‘research’ into nasal ‘crusting’/safe treatments, but there may not be much more good info, available in print and/or could be too many possible causes - and combinations of causes - in each individual.
Therefore, hard to know what to do!
ENT and PCP recommend OTC saline-based sprays, but how much saline is safe re: already-dry nasal passages?
Additional thoughts or info. would be appreciated. 🙏
